Purple Tentacle Terror is pretty difficult as compared to that item and the other glove choices at the tier, like farhanniath gloves, the gloves from gornisht and/or whatever other gloves lurk around tier 9.
 
As long as tentacle sting isnt the 1500 damage nuke version in the parser, it does seem a bit under equipped.

edit: in other news, this would be an excellent fix

That was my first impulse without knowing anything about the encounter.
 
Is there any word on this? PTT is a cool encounter but getting this item is a total wet blanket.
 
Going to talk to TM about it and check on his loot table. I am not fully against having a lesser loot on there if that was the intention.
 
I think they've already been upgraded at least once. I think kiseble would be wearing them if he didnt need the attack on his current gloves.

I could be wrong Mang but I don't think they've ever been upgraded. TM and I have definitely talked about this loot but as far as I know nothing has ever happened to it.

edit: after talking to manguadi maybe these gloves were tweaked, I have to look at the new ones.

I still think it could be powered up a wee teensy bit, or the PTT could be made less brutal because he is a sadistic rapist.
 
I am the complaining guy who has what he wants and complains anyway.

If you are right Zaela which is probably true, I always wanted there to be some gloves that proced enough that it was worth using them at tier over similar h2h weapons.

Maybe these are they!
