Request: Re-Evaluation of old hand/foot slot items across tiers.

Around the time City of Mercy was created alot of melee dps style hands / feet slots started adding elemental dmg so they were more useful to monks.

I'd like to request that alot of raid tier dps gloves/shoes be considered for a small +elemental dmg (or bane?) boost in order to make them more feasible in comparison to the newer items that are being developed. IP dps gloves and CoD chosen gloves come to mind as not being correctly adjusted for monks at the tier they are dropped at.

ALOT of feet need to be considered here,

Confirmed. Further, Elemental DMG on gloves is basically just a toy once a monk or beastlord gets anywhere in the raid game since they have actual weapons available that tend to be superior (or at least assumed to be a better choice and/or aren't as situational).
This always made me really sad. Do you have any cool Zaela ideas regarding this?

All I could think of was like an eventual tome that would allow you to utilize a fraction of the damage with weapons but with how good monk/bst wep ratios are already that would probably require some sort of rebalancing and be too much of a damn hassle.

OR

Some sort of incentive to use bare fists over weapons like increased aggro or something but I can already see this being subject to a bunch of lengthy spreadsheets about how the loss in tanking stats is not worth it or something.

Maybe different elemental types could grant monks some sort of minor bonus? I guess once again that would be a headache to balance out and doesn't even make much sense UGHH I give up.
