Reinstalled SoD and i have NO SOUND!!!

Hello, i just reinstalled and patched SoD and I have no sound at all. I made sure to check option in the sound menu and it's still not working. Please help

make sure that sound=TRUE

That fixed the only sound issue ive ever had with this game, hope it works for you.

Hi, I've just installed the game for the first time and my sound isn't working. I'm not sure exactly how to check eqclient.ini to see if my sound=TRUE. Could you possibly give a bit more detail?

go to the directory you have the game installed in. look for the file. open it with notepad. profit.

i just installed sod on windows 7 and have no volume. my sound=0. when i try to make it sound=TRUE, it wont let me save the file. says, "access is denied"


edit: got sound now!, i had to go in to the properties of the file and grant myself permision to change the file.

I hsve no sound what so ever have done everything here still no sound.
Double checked everything on my end and all is good. Any clues ??

You've tried hitting alt-o in game and made sure the sound is turned up in the options, right?
