recent stuttering graphics

haven't played much recently but when i do the graphics are like I'm in a stop motion movie and the mouse is hard to control. These problems have only been since the upgraded server I think. Gets much worse on raids. Is there a way to fix this? Do I need to install eqplaynice?

OS is windows 8

If I had to guess, it's the recent nvidia target ring fix. It causes all rendering to happen on the cpu rather than the graphics card -- much more taxing.

Uncheck "enable graphics fix" in our patcher and try it.

I think that was the problem. Things seem much better now. Thanks for your help.
