Rebooting

For some reason only when I play SoD my computer may randomly reboot. Driver's are up to date, BIOS is good, ran Memtest86+ and Windows Memory diagnostic- all turned out fine, ended up replacing a bad HDD, have just run a CPU test for the past 3 hours and no faults found. I checked the amount of heat my computer is pushing and it seems to be at about 45ºC while playing SoD. I tried running a CPU Warming Test for about 50 minutes, the CPU went as high as 55ºC and stabilized there for about 3 hours, but not even a reboot. For some reason still I can play SoD for one hour or so and the computer will just randomly reboot.

I've got some silver oxide thermal paste, not sure if maybe I need to re-apply some to the CPU, but I suppose its worth a shot.

Any idea's would be great.

Power supply should be more than enough for that card. Does it do it in any other games? Maybe try doing a 3dmark06 or vantage for an hour or so and see if it does it in one of them as well. Could also be the video card overheating. Usually a reboot like that is a component overheating. Keep an eye on temps.

Is it bluescreening? By default, Windows reboots instead of bluescreening. You can disable the automatic reboot, the place you do so is dependent on the version of Windows you're running.

Let us know if it's automatically rebooting due to bluescreens or if it's just simply rebooting.

The reboot only happens on SoD. I am using my mobo tool to check temps. nothing goes above 45ºC now. I'll run 3DMark to see if that brings anything up. Hopefully I can find a solution.
