Ranger AA's

Me and some fellow rangers (we gotta stick together, you know) have been wodnering about some of our AA's.

The question stems from AA's such as Combat Fury, Fury of the Ages, Unerring Precision etc. Specifically when the terms "increases the chance to land a critical hit", "increases chance to score a critical blow", "increases your chance of striking a foe in melee combat."

The question is: Do these apply to bow dmg?

I'm not 100% certain since I'm not at home right now, but I think crippling strikes and the finishing blow series are the only AAs that apply to melee and archery. The primary AAs for boosting bow dps are archery mastery and deadeye.

Like much of what's out there in regard to AA's, I have heard different answers about these similar questions (specifically the one's that you would think pertain to melee only). Like always, the "official" word would be excellent.

I'm pretty sure I asked this exact question once, since the AA text descriptions are so vague...
I believe the answer Wiz gave was that only crits & cripples affect archery too, while Combat ferocity & Unerring precision only affect melee.
