Radeon 6000 series

I'm thinking about buying a Radeon HD 6970. As far as i know most of the radeon series works well with SoD. (minus the lack of a target ring) However i know the 8800GT had problems ....

My question is, does anyone have this card or a HD 6000 series and can confirm it works with SoD?

Works sans target ring. I know Aileja uses one.
