Race suggestion?

charisma is pretty damn important huh?

Charisma affects whether your detrimental spells land. If you plan to slow, then your charisma will matter a lot. If you are soloing, slowing is essential. And in many groups the beastlord is the slower.

DOTs are not as important, but charisma will affect those hitting your target too.

so charisma effects them sticking? or fizzle? hmm
so woodelf druid with like 5 into wisdom & the rest dumped into cha is a decent call...

o this is so frustrating... to have money/gear for lower levels. i might as well make a druid.

o the longing to be evil will have to wait... must... set aside ...passion... to corrupt...

in another note... i think iskars look great & their dino pet is kick'n. so... you nay sayer's can bite me (with your beastlord pet of choice)

o the humanity!

(too bad there are no chocobo pets for human beastlords ;) haha! )

This is, of course, the best reason for choosing a race (no sarcasm). You'll be happier in the long run having made that decision for this reason.

yes, it's also a hard stat to max / max hidden stats of for any melee type.
Charisma affects your chance to land (not get resisted on) almost all spells on an enemy target. For a shadowknight this doesn't affect your most important spells ie your hate generating spells. but id does affect all your lifetaps (ie selfheals), taps, debuffs and dd's so its still quite important!

For a beastlord its even more important! Slow's, dd's, dots, weapon procs and blind (agro).

if your boxing a druid (healer and porting), heals and ports dont need chr :)

ahh. healers! the confusion of it all!
what a pickle iv created for myself within my own indecisiveness...

well im just damn glad the game is fun & both druid & shaman seem like a blast to play.

Iksar new models, i mean really, you guys play iksars that look like they have been steamrolled flat. Erugh!

Also, i did not know Vah dont suffer night penalty on heals. They'd make pretty good shamans, but i don't see many Vah shamans around.

Ps: Bear, Wolf and Tiger model = cubic flatness of ff7 proportions
Croc is flat by nature but looks decent.
Scale Wolf? Hes got friggin horns and spines and huge feet and teeth of bitin', looks like a dragon dog thing from hell.
The new model tigers and wolves own, but in this cubic world scale wolf is the only way to go.

I suppose, there is the buffing side, WoN, Relic DS and regen/resists! Wahoo that is really fun

Um, no. Not at all what I mean. They are one of the most versatile classes in the game. Certainly not as versatile as Bard, but I can't think of another class that can do as many roles from DS tanking, to root rotting, to ghetto CC, to even melee with their AA proc. Even that is just scratching the surface. Add in their PBAE spells and you start getting the picture of some fun potential.

well im rolling a woodelf druid with high cha for now.
named Auir.

hopefully i can get him up so i can pharm for money/items for what i really want to play...

shadowknight!!!... monk!... beastlord... necro... maybe a mage?
