Quick question about... Wiz! (dun-DUN!)

Heya,

Just wondering if Wiz is related to Game player Wizbang Dustyboots? He was a regular of the old Company forums back in the Velious-ish era and was knowledgeable enough about it to pull off something like SoD (and if memory serves me right, his gaming philosophy was close to what SoD aims for). He also worked in the game industry, which leads me to believe he'd also have the coding knowledge to do this stuff.

The name alone does not sound like something Wiz would use. :p I could be totally wrong, but I think it's just a huge quinky dink.

Wiz hasn't worked in the gaming industry, and I don't think he's ever used that handle, or atleast in the last 5-6 years.
 
Wiz wasn't Wizbang Dustyboots...because that was me.

Later on I adopted the alias Sam Da Man Deathwalker, best burst dps in the game.

I also sleep with hookers and live in my parents basement, which I have retrofitted into my EQ power gaming tantric love making sexual escapades room.

I don't know what's sadder... the fact that you think Ramblo was serious, or the fact that you actually have enough information about some EQ player to quiz him on it. :p
 
If you read ANY Live forum you pick up info on Sam whether you want it or not. He trolls nearly all the boards bragging about his accomplishments. Even that he solo'd (using his 18 toons) a mob that gets regularly single-grouped.
 
I actually recall Wiz mentioning using the name Wizbang on a UO server. He mentioned it once in passing. Although I could be wrong.

Dude i played on the same server as him . on the same team and i actually talked to him and exped a bit whit him.

Beside he was one of the servers bigger jokes ^^

just think 18 * what does a account cost on EQ nowdays 12 dollar ?

so 18*12 = 216 dollar each month. Well it says it all.


And the anserw was Sam got kicked out of Hate cause he hailed a mob and he got his flag to a pop zone when a the raid leader said he shouldnt hail it and also that he sucked on playing a non wizard char.
 
Sam suggested a dkp system where you'd get dkp points depending on how much damage you had done...

Yeah i remember that heh ofc he would come whit his 4 wizards and do his burst dps and get all loots ^^

To bad Clerics never gets dkp by that way ...............
