quick question about races

Just wondering if the changes of the proposed races were going in or are they still in thought process? I've been "gone" for awhile and just thought with the hype awhile ago it was something that was planned on pushing out "soon".

The racial re-balance thread was a rare glimpse of how we tend to do things behind the scenes. That is to say, someone has a concern/idea, we discuss it heavily for a couple days/weeks. Then we sit on it as we finish the immense backlog of other work we have. Then we re-discuss it at a later point, and finally implement it and let you guys complain about it for awhile.

It's still at the 'sit on it as we finish the immense backlog...' stage.

It's uncommon that the initial ideas are made public, hence the hype. See the Guest Locks thread for another example (look at the timestamps of the posts)
