hi I have a MacBook Core Duo 2.0 GHZ, 2 GB RAM, 80 GB HD, and was wondering if and how Shards of Dalaya run over CodeWeavers Crossover or the latest Ubuntu with wine? I do not feel like buying Windows, so that is not an option. And if they can work over Crossover, how do I install it?

Also, will my core duo processor give me trouble? I heard two core processors are bad for certain 3D apps?

The game works with wine, though I have not installed it, others have and I know it does work. And yes you should always run the game on a single CPU and not dual core. Most people just bind the game to a single CPU after you load it.

Okay, great. I am installing at the moment the most current version of Ubuntu, is this the correct version that willmake EverQuest run decently?

I am not familiar with Linux at all or Wine, so if there could be a step-by-step guide that will help me on how to make this run it would be fab. I am unfamiliar on how to make DirectX apps run with Linux.
