Is this elemental damage on weapons still all or nothing with the new changes? I mean with resists no longer being all or nothing exactly, would that meant that weapon damage is the same? Seems like this would make some weapons now dps better than before and probably change pp values as well.

Elemental damage on weapons doesn't use the new system that spells do, as has been said in this thread already.

Is that a recent change? You had some posts in the old Shortstaff of the Cold thread that seemed to indicate that elemental damage could be partially resisted per swing, although they have since been deleted so I can't be 100% sure.

that same thread, or at least one about that same item, is where i got told (i posted it was the same thing you said) that it was all or nothing
