Question on Leveling

I am currently a level 15 Druid and my best friend is a 14/15 Shaman. We duo a lot but have found that lately there isn't a nice area to just DoT and Rot or Charm kill that is worth a while. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we could go?

Also the next couple levels (Starting with spell level 19) I need a nice little area to go then. On EQLive I spent until 15/16 in Oasis and then went over to Iceclad ocean and fear kited some Cougars. After about 24 I went to Eastern Wastes and rocked some of those big walrus dudes and then slowly worked my way into Ry'Gorr (sp?) Caverns in Velious. I just don't think that will work here. I'm having trouble finding areas that are MADE to be owned by me.

I'm sorry if I piss anyone off by asking this question, just any help would be most appreciated. The Shaman/Druid Combination is NASTY once we find a nice area to start smacking things.

I feel your pain... I just started my Wizard a few days ago and I'm 14. I haven't been able to find much info on much of anything for this server. In a way, that's kinda cool though, makes it more like it was back when i started playing EQ. The only thing i would really like is a map of some sort. There is a nice zone-connection thing though, that helps a little bit... just do a search.

I would suggest using the zone connection map as a guide; it's color-coordinated for mob lvls in the zones, just go to the zones appropriate for your lvl and check them out. Warrens, Mielech A, Fearstone, Blackburrow, ... there's lots of zones for your range.

edit: if you're looking for a detailed lvling guide that says exactly where to go at exactly which lvl then you're playing the wrong game imo. Explore and find out for yourself whats best! Just like you did in the first place to get your EQ zone progression figured out.

Yeah, sometimes I just have a minor problem remembering how long Everquest really took to progress far. I guess I just keep forgetting this game is SIMILAR to Everquest and uses it's engine, but it's not really everquest. On the ranger prior to my Druid on Live, it took me 5x's as long to get to level 51 as it took my druid to get to 61. Either that's because Ranger's suck or because I knew where to go because of my Ranger. WHO KNOWS! :)
