question for level 65s

id like to know how people get aa's and spells and stuff once they are 65
ive been LFG for literally 3 days and cant get in a group because i dont have 200+ aa's or
relics. i cant really understand how im supposed to get aa's or relics when 100% of groups require me to have them, therefor i cant get a group for anything as a bard.
any time i whisper someone im usually just ignored and get no response. i really want to advance my character and progress i just dont know how to go about it.

When I was a fresh 65 (did not box) I did ALOT of TMaps for gear and later on just pure xp, also look for people in the lower end 65 xp zones (MielC, Sorceror's Laby, Elds, EW orcs) always works, just shoot them a tell (if they don't respond sometimes it's may be because they were boxing, so send another toon a tell). Can always look for others that are just duoing in random zones and see if you can just leach xp (usually don't get any money/loot) but its an easy way to get some xp

what's your character's name? does he have a bad reputation? does he still wear level 1 gear? what groups are you asking? I have a 64 enchanter alt (fahyim) with 50 aas, and even HE can get groups, so either youre having bad luck or youre asking the wrong people! either way keep at it, if it gets frustrating/you get bored, level up an alt for those days you cant get a group!
 
my toons name is eezec. i dont wear level 1 gear, im not geared like someone whos been playing for years, but for two months my character has come along pretty well. 40 aa's, iki flagged, i even have psalm of the four , lol. i hope i dont have a bad rep , i really havnt done anything to create negativity about me, except maybe oocing that im LFG for 3 days straight.
ive dont numerous e/ve maps to the point where i dont need anything from either, even the quest pieces. but anything past that requires me to have good gear/ 200+ aa's/ relics. and thats where my problem is ;(
anyhow thanks for the response, it gives me a little hope i suppose.
 
I don't mind fresh 65's joining me as long as they don't expect the drops as need before greed. That may sound mean, but the truth is that if I'm doing high end content I'm going to be carrying someone who just turned 65, and although I don't mind sharing loot (selling and splitting money, or randoming for drops).. I don't want to see, oh that's an upgrade I need that and end up with zero split for the night.

Anyway, if you don't expected to be handed loot, then hit me up, I'll bring you along when I XP.

I don't see any augs, anywhere, except seeker. Even buying the cheap ones for 20pp each will help out... a little aug > no aug.

yeah i know its terrible ! i would aug them but im hesitant to because im replacing things alot and that stuff is expensive, while trying to save for the rest of the buyable spells i need =)

but soon
 
You should spend zero money on purchasable augs until 1) you have ALL OF YOUR SPELLS and 2) you have a slightly better charm
