question about the war event.

just started playing here for about 3 months. When i first started i stumbled into the War event that was happening in oasis. I didn't know that this batlle could actually spread to different areas. So my questions are has this event ever taken over a city? which cities are in danger of being taken over? and what happens to the new people trying to start in that town?
 
I appreciate the link, but was curious when was the last time a city actually fell? Also has there ever been two war events at the same time?

Cities get captured from time to time and occasionally you will see them stay captured if nobody cares about the city and yes sometimes you'll see two waves at once.
 
There was a time that both Athica and South Newport were under Kaezulian control. It was sad.
 
If you slay enough Newport NPC, a super NPC spawns. He wrecks Kaezul's army by chain summoning anything that attacks Newport Citizens and Guards.

Think he was "The Bounty Hunter" or something.
 
The bounty hunter is a guy that follows you around cities if you kill the banker/bank guards and steal shit. I remember getting ganked by him in newport after I ran in and stole items after Finden and the bankers died to a red con War mob in athica.
 
now I am wondering what would be the worst case senario for these war events? would all low lvl zones be taken over? what about Halas, kethlin, the Vah? I saw a little bit of the last war event a few days ago..It was a little nerve wracking figuring my highest char here is a lvl 40 mage.
 
The war doesn't normally take over dungeon type zones or "regular experience" zones. Maybe connecting though, such as some Badlands or faenthac.
Heartlands, sorcerer's labyrinth, lasanth, warpstone, etc... I haven't ever seen attacked in the years I've played.
its also fairly easy to avoid camps of kaezulians if you need to pass through a zone already conquered.
 
On a related note. Seeing a zone like kedge keep or cmal taken by kaezul would be interesting
