Anyone have a PSP and a few games for it?
I purchased mine around the launch date and have only since played/bought lumines and wuhoh emulated a few snes games.

But other then that it has not gotten much love.

So can any of you fine lads recommend any games for it?

Ive been somewhat looking forward to DND:Tactics or whatever it may be called, also along with the remake of final fantasy tactics (Im a tactics whore :toot:)
Another game I had looked at was field commander , but it seemed to get mixed reviews, and I havent gotten off my arse to go pick it up.

So if you have one , what games do you play assuming you do play it.
:tinfoil:

Or you can voice your opinions saying that its a pos and sucks etc, I wont argue with ya.

I have a PSP and it is okay. I have Valkyrie Profile for it, and that game is fairly solid. I am also waiting on DnD tactics and would love to have a DnD game finally use 5x5 squares!

The beginning of the game was long, indeed, but I do not remember the actual time as it has been about 8 months since I last started it. The combat system is unique (at least to me) so I enjoy playing it. The story line is decent and there are lots of hidden gems (goes without saying since its an RPG). I enjoy it, but I have never finished it since I got distracted with work/studying and then started to play SoD. I am a weird gamer for the fact that I usually only play one game at a time until I "beat" it. I will probably be on SoD for quite some time, sigh.

MGS: Portable Ops is a great game, it has the same feel as Snake Eater, there are a lot of easter eggs like the original series too. You can play online against others, or with someone else who has a PSP but lacks the game.

Eh I considered portable ops but I get all :psyduck: when i think about metal gear solid without 2 analog sticks.
Does the control scheme work well? (Im assuming it does but maybe you could enlighten me further as to how they go about it ) Is it like the original MGS and you just use the dpad for movement , while you could use the stub thing to look around?

And <3 Lumines to death , even though the ai always whoops my arse on the 4th versus level or so.

Also thanks for all the responses , Hopefully ill be using the thing abit more now.
Once i get out and buy some of these

Yes you can use the Dpad to move around and the analog to look around, there a bunch of configuration schemes that you can chose from.

I have one and have well over 100 games hehe, cant say all of them obtained legally.. I live in the world of Custom Firmware.. check out my list if you have questions about anay of the games I own.. /agree with Kyeld, MGS:pO is very solid

and btw regarding Lumines... hold onto those UMDs if they are more than like a couple months old.. youve got Gold in your hands hehe.. they are the key to downgrading v3.50 PSPs

Yeah I considered getting one of those nifty 2gb memory sticks and using a custom firmware , but being the lol electronics noob I am: Bricking it seems highly possible. :toot: but its still an option.

Anyway to send me a PM on how to downgrade using Lumines? My copy of Lumines is over a year old.

Untold Legends was pretty fun, was easy to get an online group going when it was released, not sure now. Fun stand alone also.
Hot Shots Golf
Metal Gear
Sonic Rivals

For RPG someone told me Tales of the World was good, i haven't tried it yet. I think it's based on other games like Tales of Symphonia .. etc which are generally pretty fun basic RPG's.
