procs and how they happen

What about back slots? how do they proc? what comes to mind is cry of vindication on the HoMisery warrior quest reward cloak. Any ideas?

They do not proc (and yes I know that that item is configured with a combat proc).

I know shoulders proc whenslaming.

There is a ridiculous shoulder item from tmaps, that is RNG/ROG/SHM that have a proc.

But since it procs only with slam, it is only useful for Barbarian Rogues.

Anybody can slam if you get a race illusion of a race that can slam.

What about letting back items proc when you are hit with a spell then? Don't think anything else procs based on that yet, and it would seem to make sense for cloaks to work that way.

None. In the case of that bracer and most older procing bracers, if the proc is a beneficial spell, it'll only proc from beneficial spell casts. Since the only mana-costing songs bards have are detrimental, these kinds of bracers would never proc for them.

this doesn't seem to be the case any more... i've seen bracelet of healing springs proc off bellows.

do all bracers proc off any spell with a mana cost now?
