Installed Everquest, Kunark, Velious, and Shadows of Luclin. The patcher would not work, giving the following error:
So, I went to the EQ support site and downloaded their patcher from a link at the top of this page: http://eqlive.station.sony.com/support/tech_support/ts_new_patcher.jsp
This got the patcher working, and I was able to download all the files necessary for SoD.
Then I proceeded to run the SoD patcher, and I got a mss32.dll missing error. So I downloaded mss32.dll and placed it in the EQ folder.
Next I got a dpvs.dll missing error, so I put a copy of that in my EQ folder.
Finally, it looks like it's going to try to load, EQWindows begins to show up, and I get a little box saying ERROR: String not found. (303)
I'm stuck and not sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
