Problems Installing EQ Titanium

Yes i keep getting this lovely error that says " Component Transfer Error" with some other choice stuff depending on the file it happens on. Also it says " Error: Data Error ( Cyclic Redundancy Check )

i talked to SoE about it and they told me to just download it with Station launcher but i kept getting unknown errors with that.

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions ANYTHING :S
 
Cyclic Redundancy Check generally means mucho bad sectors on your hard drive.

I'd start backing stuff up.

I have a feeling you are using a downloaded and burned copy. This happens on improperly burned discs and it seems that you are attempting to install it rather than pull data from your harddrive to suggest what laeglis is saying.

If not, disregard this.
 
No these are retail EQ disk but i got the problem solved somehow i have no idea i just kept trying and trying to re install then finally ( at about 3am ) it installed i dont know what the issue was about but my hard drive is fine i install stuff all the time and have never got that, this was my first CRC error.

But anywho i got the game installed now :D thank you guys for takeing your time to try an help

Could also be your DVD/CD drive going bad or being dumb. I have an external that does it every now and again for seemingly no reason
