problem with Ocy the Rampant

just noticed he was up for 3 days in a row and noone killed it. My guild, which is starting to grow as far as raid goes attempterd to kill it. Was excited that we finally had a shot at it since we have been killing ALL dragons in WW and DN but always missed Ocy. Well the ecounter was not good. I remember when my main was in antoehr guild we did Ocy with a single group, using the walls in the pitt to protect from AoE. Well this time the wals didnt protected us, we tryed several times and several tactics, we even used the crystal structures to wedge the main tank so that he could not get blown away and that didnt worked as well. At this point we gave up on this mob who's difficulty now is greather than mobs 2-3 lvls higher and with better loot. However in anyone that has kill it recently has any suggestions on how to avoid EVERYONE getting blasted nad healers not being able to heal please post them. Also If the development team can look this up, will be great because I can feel this mob is alot more harder now than intended to be.
 
We tried him some time ago. We just fought him in the cave area where he roams no problem. If I recall his spell is easy to resist. Nothing too special, and very doable by an entry-type force.
 
Me and a pick-up fought him I believe on Weds :psyduck:? but we took him against the SE wall of the pit thing and we did it just fine.
 
i've duo'd the mob plenty of times, he's fine.. as wiz said, you're not using the right tactics
 
I was leading last week pick up, there was about 12-15 ppl. Just left the tank near a wall where he could move back (and get up the cliff) so aggroed him, and there we go.. less then 1 minute he was down :D

Just have 1 question, how to kill lady acrecia?
Must send someone to get charmed intentionaly?
 
The charm dragons suck to the Nth degree. We always brought out a High Elf Paladin =p

Gonobn really trivializes stuff.

Ontopic: You can still fight him pretty easy if you just corner him somewhere.
