Post Your Specs Here

And you still can't get through MoP!

I never tried on a 65 toon, maybe because I'm a wizard with about 8 gate necks.

I think you are confusing me with Bridger, just to educate you:

Bridger is a mage, he can't port anywhere, that is because he is a mage. He has posted on the MoP about 30 times. Maybe if you can take off your shoes and socks and borrow somebody else's hands you can count to 30.

I am a wizard and I can port most places. I have posted about twice on MoP making it plain I never used the MoP, take your two thumbs and count them that is 2.

Joke is wearing a bit thin now.

Also server lag is not affected by your host machine spec.

Idk man, most of the world is pretty accessible without the mop due to gatenecks and port clickies, without using my druid. At least the portions of the world that matter.

I agree entirely with your comment and in fact Bridger can gate most places, this remark was made in context of sarcastic response to J-k-i who had apparently never ever properly read the odd post about MoP I had made.

In fact although my memory may be faulty, I think I made the exact same comment that any person with a 65+ (whatever + means) toon should have gatenecks to avoid most journeys through MoP.

Stationary:
Pentium 4, 2.53Ghz
1 GB ram
Nvidia Gforce 7600 GS

Laptop:
Intel Pentium processor T4200 (2Ghz)
3GB ram
ATI mobility radeon HD 4570

CPU: Intel Core2Duo T5800
RAM: 2 gb
GPU: Some crappy integrated card.

Not very good, but it's enough for the casual playing I do. I've noticed playing on Linux with wine actually makes it work a little better though. :)

EDIT: I won't be two-boxing anytime soon.

I played the original EQ on a AMD K6-2 450 on 128mb of ram, on a 3d-enabler integrated card. You know, the one the Pentium 2 300 shat all over in games? During Velious era I upgraded to an Athlon 1Ghz with a voodoo3 (cruisin' baby!), and that lasted me to Omens of War era comfortably, which is well above the graphics level of SoD.

A core2anything with enough memory for the O/S and 500mb to spare can two-box Emu-EQ comfortably, especially if you dedicate the cores properly. The only issue is that shitty integrated cards these days have some legacy issues (which is kinda amazing given how little EQ relies on its graphics card). Could probably pick up a dedicated budget nVidia or ATI card off ebay for 20 bucks that would fix that.

Unless that's a laptop, in which case, my sympathy.

And here I am playing a 12 year old game on it, because the mmorpg genre is otherwise hopeless. :/
