Possible Application for Tradeskills

Is there a way.. to implicate a application that would assist us in-game SoD with our trade skills..

Instead of lets say.. have to individually click onto 1 item - moving it to this container.. having to create seprate piles into that container just so we can use the combination correctly..

Can we develop a small application that has a list of all the tradeskills, the different items within that tradeskill that can be made, and its components

So that it would kinda look like this?

Tradeskill
- A)
- B)
- C) Brewing -
etc.. | (List each combination , trival skill , color of indication of that trival skill of which would be easier to get a better chance of success then others? Like /consider a mob - red being the hardest - white being the easiest

* Berry Juice 20 *
******************************

Click on berry juice and have a side menu or a drop down that shows what materials it takes to make the item
***********************
* Water Flask 1 *
* Berries 1 *
***********************

Then just have a button on the first window that shows the items you can make under brewing (that you have selected Berry Juice) that says Combine and have it just automaticly combine it for you

What is it with you and wanting to make programs to do everything for you?

Just play the game.
 
No no no.. its not macroing..

It was a system that was used just after PoP in EQ Live - and finding out not too long ago how some of the tradeskills are gimpd from the 2 versions here..

I always enjoyed the lil thing they had goin on in live and was just wondering if they could come up withs omething to replicate it..

And I do play the game! Too much as a matter of fact : )
 
I like that there is a degree of difficulty [albeit small] to figuring out the combos in tradeskilling. Basically you have to either go to the wiki and read the combination page, or read the "manual," or do it through trial-and-error.

I believe this suggestion would be a "dumbing-down" of the skill. There has to be some degree of difficulty to anything that will eventually reward the character either with money, xp or fame.

While I can appreciate the suggestion and the thoughtfulness taken to post it, I simply do not agree with it.
 
If I remember right didn't it only let you make the things you knew of and had made once that way anyways?
 
Short answer: theres no way to implement something like that into the client, and staff, to be honest, is not going to make that for you as a third party program. Giving you every recipe in existence removes all sense of exploration from new tradeskilling. You're going to have to rely on the player contributed wiki for recipes.
