I live on a college campus and recently the system admins setup a new system to try and limit the use of BitTorrent and the like. The problem with this is that the thing they are using needs to recognize the packet in order to process it as being acceptable. Anyway, from talking to him he said if I could get some port numbers for where they are being sent he may be able to allow those to be open. Is there a list of port numbers that are needed for SoD to work?
I did search the fourms and came up with this post that had a few things, but it's almost 6 months old and I don't know if it is up to date or not. It also mentions different servers, I'm guessing the Login Server is to get the the 'Server Select' screen, the World Server gets you to the 'Character Select' screen, and the Zone Servers load the zones when you zone. Is that correct, meaning I would need a ton of ports to be opened?
Any help is greatly appreciated cause I'd really like to play again and not fall too far behind the rest of my guild.
EDIT: This new system was the cause of my earlier post of not being able to establish a connection to the server select screen
