Pledging to Jayla

From my understanding you can only have 1) Blackscale Badge+Deity 2)Traders Pips+Deity 3) Councilors Badge So if you pledge to jayla you get

It doesnt really seem like a fair trade off. Am i missing something here?
there is nothing stopping you from choosing a faction and acquiring their aug as well as being jayla pledged.
You sacrifice nothing(that i know of) by pledging jayla thus her aug is crap compared to some others.
Oh hey i actually read your post and realized you must have the council of innovation aug and the jayla aug confused

Are they Jayla Aug and the Council of Innovation aug completly different augs? What i was thinking was maybe the jayla aug was the upgrade version of the council of innovation's aug.

Why would you think that? They're not even the same type of aug... Jayla is a deity, Council is a MQ faction. If you need to see proof, fomelo Deidden. Jayla aug in charm, Council aug in belt. (The two are in no way dependent... you can pledge to Jayla while on a different faction, or pledge to a different deity while on Council faction.)

Can't go back. You will certainly be able to get the 20% deity bonus eventually, but might have to wait until more alignment quests are added since there aren't that many in-game currently. I suggest getting all your SC quests done first before starting your Jayla aug quest, as the deity quests tend to move your alignment toward that of the deity (thus helping pull those lawful hits from SC back to neutral).

It's really dependent on which alignment you choose. If you're not far from max it's entirely possible to gain 20%. If you need more than 3-4% though you're probably screwed for now.
Things you can check:
1. One Eye Murt over in newport, should give a hit depending on what you do. Most have done him however
2. Oggok mines has a few hits, depending on what you need, not many, but you can snag 2% points if you're lucky.
3. The halloween quest had a hit right in the beginning, but pretty certain that was in just for halloween, and is over now.
4. The vah quest has 2 hits I'm aware of, one right in the beginning (variable, gave a character I tested it on an evil hit, another got nothing), and one maybe about 30% of the way through (got a chaotic hit, there are other choices though)
5. Sometimes people skip one of the seekers, there is one that will gain you 1/2 a percentage point to 1%.
6. Main quest related, but there is a good hit that some skip, involving a plague cure vial. One can sell it for plat or turn it in. If you have sold it, and manage to acquire another one, you can still turn it in for the good hit last time I checked (was droppable). However if you have already turned it in, you're sol.
7. Newport ring quests had some hits.
8. There is also a ring quest in nnp, some girl loses her ring, its in the sewers. I've always thought that should give a good hit, but last time I did it, it did nothing. Might want to test it on an alt in case someone made a revision.
9. There is an evil hit in sc, not any good I'm aware of though.
Most deity quests should have hits, I think jayla does, enthann does not. Many of the others assuredly do.
Right now I'm at 4%, haven't done any jayla. I'm going try to finish off my SC first then work on my alignment towards jayla after. My only concern here is when i get 6+ Silver crown pips and have a lot of lawful faction and lower to neutral i'm not going be able to do the 7+ SC when it gets installed because my alignment is neutral

I tried to do this recently with the healer in Ermial and he wouldn't take it.
I didn't turn it in at that time due to the fact I was unsure what diety to pledge to for the alignment hit so I continued on MQ up to Undercaverns so far.
Am I trying to turn this in to the incorrect person or has this been disabled?
