plate wearer low level Hunting grounds

Im currently level 17 Troll SK and have been hunting in stingers bog, upper area of halls of mielech, some orcs in s. Wastes of Tarhyl, the Enterence of Temple of Yaralith and lizards in Obsidian Shard Mtns.

So far i haven't found any locations that drop anything better then leather.
I've purchaces a set of platemail which is extremely heavy but effective at this level.

I'm looking for advice as i head into the low 20's as to some good hunting grounds that would drop some chain or plate armour better then the plate of of town merchants..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
from what i've seen, you wont find any for quite awhile. I've seen plate wearers wearing that same town plate well into their 40's.
 
You can wait 'til around your 30s and head to Kaladim and try to get spectral plates from the mobs there.
 
Yes, the silver stuff from Shrouded Isle (Unrest from Live) drops some decent plate stuff. I suggest going there to get that. Also some nice experience to be had.

Unfrotunately when I was leveling up I didn't know that unrest was in the game, and sadly missed my opportunity to hunt in there.
 
buy a bunch of golden sheets, and patterns and do the Othmir armor quests in wyvern fang, its good no drop plate armor that is relatively cheap.

where to hunt for plate armor

I can also recommend two places for plat armor in the low 20s:

First Ruins drops Black Steel Plate, which is kind of nice
You can very quickly get a full set of chitin like plate (I can't remember the exact name) from the insect creatures in Fungus Grove. good exp too.
