Planes of power/ dual client

Winter's roar has access to planes of power correct? ive seen a few posts about people worrying about their dual client chars being too far apart, so i was wondering about that...
second is there some sort of special art to dual client or do you just start up 2 eq clients one after the other and log into different accounts?
 
Pretty much, although obviously you should use EQWindows. EQ can be...actually, EQ is a massive resource hog though, so if you have a spare machine I would recommend two-boxing instead.
 
coincidentally there are links on the WR webiste for both EQ Windows and EQ Play Nice. not knowing your system, i wouldn't even try running two EQ windows without EQPN.
 
when i try to do dual client(using EQPN) i can log into one character but then when i try to do the second i can get to char select but then while loading char into world it disconnects...is this something wrong with my comp or connection or something else? also...ive been trying to log in since the patch today but none of the zones are available it says...any ideas on either?
 
Yessir.

First issue: Are the characters on the same account? \

Second: The world was likely still down, Post again if your issue continues past tonight. You can always check in IRC for server status.
 
How does EQ Play Nice operate?

Personally, I've attempted to use it, and it doesn't really change a thing.

Does anyone know what exactly it tries to do in relation to the client?
