I wish to request a command which will set a message that will be displayed upon logging in. The purpose of which would be to communicate with people boxing your character.
Many people are rather lenient with people they let use thier characters, but sometimes they wish to not be moved or played for a time for various reasons (camping something in area logged, preserving buffs, etc).
It would be nice to have if this is an easy implementation, but otherwise not worth extensive effort.
Possible command could be /cmd logintext [text] displayed upon logging in as "Personal Note of [timestamp]: [text]"
"There are currently # active quest(s) in your journal. Type /cm journal to view them."
Addendum: Guestlock status included in the login text.
"This Character has been Guestlocked on [timestamp]. Type /cm unlock [password] to unlock this character temporarily.
Personal Note of [timestamp] set by owner: [text]
Personal Note of [timestamp] set by guest: [text]"
This allows for the personal note to be set by anyone who sets the text under unlocked or non-guestlocked status to set an owner note, and remove owner/guest notes. Anyone who sets the text under guestlock has the note tagged as guest and they can not remove any notes.
The owner note vs guest note I feel is very important so the owner can set instructions to anyone whom logs in and not have the text be removed or overwritten if guestlock did not affect the login note. The guest note can be overwritten by anyone on the character. This limits the amount of total notes to be maximum of two, for I feel that anything of dire importance that a guest may need to convey to the owner can be said elsewhere without risk of being deleted or overwritten.
