People going around two box rule

I think its kinda lame that people are getting around the two box limit by having someone else box one of their toons so they can get xp and loot while still boxing two of their other toons on raids.

sure they are being played by different people but the owner of the toons is still getting the rewards of boxing more than two at once.

I don't understand this post. Are you upset that people have friends willing to progress their characters for them? How is this getting around the rules? Characters are whored out to others all the time for whatever reason. I see nothing wrong with this.

How is this exactly a problem involving the game? Its more of a problem involving your raidleader/force imo then something on the server rules side.

If someone is boxing someone elses char to help the raid force what does it matter? If its that big of a problem for you then dont raid with them?

Yeah, so? That just means they have friends. It is not against the rules to have someone else play your char, it's only against the rules to play 3 or more at once.

Go make some RL friends you trust with your info, and you can do it too!

Make sure loot rules set in advance, if this is a loot issue... Like, "Kero, I know you're playing Kero & <insert box>, and <insert PC 2> is playing <insert box 2>, so I think it's only fair that you get one roll/loot out of all 3 of your chars here right now."

Situation solved, quit whining.

There is nothing technically wrong with this, as it isn't actually 3-boxing and the social aspect of the game is preserved. For this reason it will never be policed and is not against the rules whatsoever.

That being said, I agree with you that it can be a very jerky thing to do - especially when said persons won't drop the 3rd toon for another person in IRL, particularly one from their own guild. It can have a tendency to backfire for this reason, hurting the 'selfish' player's reputation and possibly causing internal guild drama.

^^ What She Said ^^

I don't know that I've ever been in a group where people received loot for each character, and not just each actual person playing. Unless of course someone was really good at two boxing and was just being dishonest.

Like it was said before, lay out ground rules on multiple characters owned by the same person and it shouldn't be an issue.
