the day is tuesday, new patch day. I installed eq on my laptop (Dell demension model) on sunday, patched all went great got into game. monday rolls around. wake up, allright! SoD time! click on patcher, and its goin like normal but then BAM! it starts doing something with files (eq patch?) so i walk away and wait it out while its goin. I come back to find it stuck at file X its been there for a good 30 mins on the same file( dont remember) so me, knowing what do to since i've done it on my tower and the brillant smart people tell me to do delete the files and go to repatch. stuck at sodbin.exe 1hour 
. so the newb I am at computers decide ''im pissed, screw it im reinstalling eq.'' so i do all that, patcher STILL got stuck at sodbin.exe.so i remembered you could manually dl the files from the website. did that and hooray! was able to play again. tuesday comes and the new patch screws me up. repatching wont work... the normal patching wont work... im doing something wrong.
firewall down, antivirus off, all ports open, .net installed, me pissed and overworked and mad did a quick scan of forumms and found nothing that helped that i havent tried already.

3. tuesday and new patch, patcher dies and refuses to show me some lovin and work...syduck:
