Yea Dunbar that was my basic worry ... i know shadowknights are way more melee than pallys but i was thinkin that the skill cap of 220 was a bit low in consideration that a shadows caps at 233 or something like that before the patch was in place. I meant no offense to anyone

How are shadowknights way more melee than pallys? Aratar with Motg stick does around mid 90s dps, Jose with best 2hslash in the game(fargs) does 110ish...The diffrence between the 2 weapons is decent with the same weapon i doubt the diffrence would even be noticiable.

SK's and Pallys (tradiotionally speaking, anyway) should do similar damage melee. The difference has always been that SK's tend ot have more offensive spells. Ones that damage their target, often. Since pallys spells are generally defensive, SK's have had higher overall DPS.

I'm sure this will change with Wiz's proposed changes to apllies (making pallies an offensive tank, if I remember correctly..)
