Pal Flash spells bump up to SK terror spell.

okey as Wiz posted in the forum about stuns, Pals Flash spell is a cheap agro spell like SK's terror spell. However I noticed is not great agro spell as terror and I have problems maintaining agro with my paladin while I play my SK is pure joy of keeping agro. this really has not bothered me since my paladin usually hangs out with a warrior who is usually MT untill we tryed for Traekoth raid and warrior could not MT the adept because he will get feared right away from the very time he engaged and it was time for my pally to step up. Well I can't realy pull any agro on traekoth right away in time to save the cleric doing the first heal. And frankly it is kinda embarasing that someone in the Traekoth forum(that has died since the misserable failed attempts) that paladins suck at agro, and should have had a SK doing so... I'm trying to suggest that since paladins depend from flash spells to get agro(and since it nolonger blinds the NPC's) to have the same agro as SK's terror spell. However if Flash was supposed or already intended to have the same strenght as terror, then it needs to be looked up, because frankly from playing both kight classes I feel paladins still way behind SK's in many aspects. Thanks for reading.

Paladins shouldn't really be able to generate the same level of aggro through a spell as shadowknights since their role was tweaked a bit recently.

well, personally I play the 2 classes, and I don't know how many do and can say what I can say, but I feel that paladins still VERY far behind, they dont feel as a complete class.  And their role as support DPS for cases in which only undead take advantage of the paladin being there are few encounters.  from playing both classes paladins feel as an unfinishe class, it dosent feel complete.  for once, they are supposed to be this undead killing machines(so to speak from what this new tweaking was supposed to make them) yet they are loaded with an arsenal of stun spells which do not work for undead, also the reasoning behind it is them stunning mobs using magic, and magic also should affect undead and shouldsttun them as well.  Also they are knights, tank class yet they lack in getting agro.  Also they get nifty spells like a haste that is better than enchanter's haste at the level when they get it, but self only, however they dont get an upgrade for it at higher lvls.  It is like everyone saying that paladins suck and that is irritating me, and yet I know that I cant back my paladin because seriously i feel they are lacking.  I like theidea of them doing tripple damage crits with undead creatures and making everyone do cleansing damage to (btw casters dont get any benefit from this) damage to undead, but seriously is that going to make people say hey lets go get a paladin for our group? or man I wish we had a paladin in our raid?.  All I'm asking is to make them as wanted and as good of a class as a SK or war will be as far as tanking goes.

You have "Spell: Blinding Light (55)" from the Oasis right?

Cause thats only very very rarely resisted and in many hours of playing a paladin i've never lost agro to a healer on their first heal :psyduck:

Any paladin that tries to tank anything in the end game arena without the Divine Stun AA and Rush to Judgment is a turd.

Soon as a paladin is able to get AAs he needs to train Divine Stun to have any agro ability whatsoever. Its a low resist, fast cast stun that costs no mana. That will solve a lot of the problem you have with getting resisted on blinds/stuns. If Traek isnt high resist you shouldnt have any problem casting the 55 blind and the higher lvl stuns on him, while taunting, to keep agro.

The truth is though, paladins aren't designed as a MT for raid content. They are great for group content where most mobs dont resist our agro spells but not so much otherwise.

So you want paladins to generate the same agro and do more damage than SK's? So what the hell would be the point of having a SK along for anything period? Paladins are already better options for grouping from my point of view and I can also see big uses for them in the raid game now as well.

Ya, paladins aren't meant to tank in place of an sk. No sense in asking for them to be made able to because we have a nice place as dps and additional group heals. Asking for any more makes Nurgock angry at paladins.
