Original Everquest Music

ahhh that is nice. The shop1 song...I can't count how many days I spent sitting outside the shop in north ro meditating and healing. It was my favorite music in the game by far :) Thanks for the link...I had a few of these, but not the whole collection.
 
Apparently... the developer said it was pointless to continue on without a programmer, and nobody has applied. Shame though, I was really hoping to see it succeed.

Any programmers out there who are interested in ths though? Maybe email the developer and see if you can get the project back on it's feet.

Perhaps he could join the WR team. Would be extra ideas etc...
 
I was just browsing that website and it mentioned making use of the old spell graphics, I thought this was impossible. :?

Edit: Haha, Battle2 - memories :D always reminded me of Final Fantasy too :p
 
Unknown 1, 2, and 3?

Anyone got any answers on these? Unknown 1 sounds kind of like kelethin drui or ranger guild or something ? bah
 
I'm using the old battle music now. Just overwrite the combattheme1 and combattheme 2 files with their respective counterparts. It works well since WR doesn't check these files.

I would really like to know if its possible for the devs of WR to imbue some of this music into wr. i know its client side but maybe, just maybe it can be pulled of from server side

think you were on the right track with unknown 1... a friend who played EQ long before me stated that there were zoning themes that played when zoning into/outof certain zones

1 - Qeynos bard guild
2 - Freeport gates (would sit in wfp gates forever to hear this... would afk there and do something else.. such great music... sorta has a 'westward expansion' feel to it... encouraging you to keep travelling out into the unknown)
3 - Boat music

I know for a fact that my crappy computer would take as long to load from server to char select in the time it takes the intro to reach midpoint at about where it starts in to efp docks. Then after luclin it was well over the whole song length =\
 
I thought I knew most of the music but there were a few tracks I didn't recognize. :)
