Opening screen problems

Okay heres my problem

i run WRpatcher.exe and click patch and run..

the screen where the seizure warning opens up and its all off centered..

but the problem is i cannot move the GRAY (Eq) mouse and click continue

all that happens is my WHITE (Desktop) mouse will move around..and if i move it around the screen i can still see the seizure warning screen but it will reveal icons on my desktop but when i move the mouse away they will dissapear and i dunno whats wrong with it.
i tried updating my graphics drivers but that didint help
does anybody have any say or input or suggestions or even solutions on what to do?
 
ok good i was making sure now check this list :

1. Have you tweaked your video setting?

2. in the advanced menu on the patcher do u have the Use EQW selected?

because i think the first time u run the new patcher it trys to load it

in EQW mode so if u didn't select it the first time, get it

No i have not tweaked my video settings at all the only video settings i have changed was me re-installing my video drivers which was the same version so it didnt really update anything at all.

Eqw was selected and it gave me this problem, so i de-selected it and it is still giving me problems.

i even tried runnning the command Everquest.exe instead of eqgame.exe and it just crashes back to windows....

May sound stupid but have you clicked the mouse ?

My mouse doesn't move until I click once and then it moves normal.
