Hi. I dont like muting ooc. I like to help people and enjoy seeing who is LFG and what is going on. However the past three days 50% of ooc is arguing about treant leaves and who can and cannot sell what loot. Id like to ask people to refrain from these things because it just doesnt make any sense. Take it to tells.

Please.
 
Sorry, but a lot of people dont come to the forums, and even those that do may not respect your request. Your just going to have to live with it.. Maybe but /ooc in a different window so you dont always see it.
 
In my eyes the recent trouble is the same as if a band of 5 newbies got together and spammed auction every few minutes with bonechips for 100pp each, it's annoying and doesn't have to happen and is bound to cause discussion. Of course what people should do is put them on ignore or they'll get sick of it, one or the other will happen soon.
 
IMO this is a reasonable request. The entire server should not be forced to listen to a couple dozen people drag on about the same thing over and over.

I for one will stick to discussing the topic in tells for the time being.
 
I guess I don't spend time online when these things are going on because I haven't noticed it, other than weird proces for items I can't even comprehend a use for yet :p

Anyway... It's hard to impart mob justice on a few people because they're causing a racket when we don't know where they live and there are laws against that in most states. If they're really bugging you that much, put the people doing it on ignore for a week. By the weeks end, hopefully the petty argument should have passed.

*edit* On an off-note, I'm still annoyed that I can't get my sig to work anywhere on this forum =(
 
Gotta agree here, last few days in ooc has been steadily devolving into Barrens:general chat from WoW. In other words, not good.

speaking of which, before the treant leaves debacle, ooc was a mess of people talking about wow, and has been for the moths I've been playing. If WoW is so great... GO PLAY WOW. I came here to play SoD, not to read the Blizzard forums in realtime.
