Ointment for Tailoring, Advancing in Tailoring

Ok, it's been a couple of weeks now, there has not been a shaman that can come up with the ingredients or will let us know they have ointment so that you can advance in tailoring. One of my pet peeves about the EQlive tradeskills was that it appeared you needed to be able to master(101) alot of the other trades in order to GM one. This sucks, relying on others to make stuff for you can be tiresome, they may not play when you do, etc, etc. I ended up doing all of the tradeskills,except Fletching, in EQlive, just so I could GM in one, lol.

Can the ointment be vendor sold again, please? Or can we create new recipes to get through tailoring from say 95 to 145 without ointment? Also, it would be really nice to have tradeskills not dependent on other tradeskills, I don't mind farming mobs considering this isn't an overcrowded server (on EQlive farming is outrageous because of the number of people doing it) But, because of the low numbers on the server, I feel tradeskills would be best kept with advancements minus stuff from other tradeskills.

If we can't do this, can we at least publish a recipe for ointments and the trivs? Our guild alchemist has purchased the 800p book and still no recipe in there for ointments. If I have to I will lvl a shaman to make it or at least be able to have our guild alchemist do that.

I really would like to be able to advance in Tailoring.

it's lucky that you have a guild alchemist.. I wouldn't mind starting alchemy myself, but I don't want to play a shaman.. it would be nice, though, if ointment could be made by another tradeskill, or alchemy (at least a very low skill in it) was available to other classes.. I have no guild shaman and have tried to contract a player to make ointment for me with no luck.. still, even if my tailoring stops dead, WR is a great server.. I would like to see it more tradeskill-friendly though :)
 
Angmar is available most days and can take orders for a variety of alchemy potions. Typically, I have backpacks full of potions in my bank for such occassions. Prices are reasonable and you'll get a free sow with every purchase!
