Non pvp-flagged healing the pvp-flagged!

I would like to suggest that a bit of code should be implemented that makes healing of pvp-characters by NON-pvp characters a piece of history!

Today Gtoo and his monk Onos followed my guild to SK where we were killing Enforcer and Rymaz. About right after this encouter Onos starts attacking me and another druid that was also pvp-flagged and as we proceed to destroy Onos... he is being healed by Gtoo. Whom is... NON-pvp flagged! Gtoo was actually red himself before my guild ported to SK. He actually removed the blessing of war from himself so that he could follow us to SK and safely heal his monk without us retalliating on him.

And thus... i suggest making the healing of red chars impossible as long as they are in battle, or unless the healer is red himself!

Maybe put a timer so that you can't heal a PVP char that has been attacked by another PVP char in the last 5 minutes unless the healer is also PVP?

Yeah, that's probably bad. The rub of it is, I can't think of a good way to stop it--Diolas's suggestion has the capacity for other kinds of griefing (pink a red player on a raid to prevent heals to him during the middle of an encounter). Perhaps something along the lines of temporary PVP flags? If you heal or aid someone who is PVP when they've been recently hit, you become PVP for a few minutes too.

I dont kill AFK tagged chars!

And, protect your King? wth, should have attacked me during the accounter then, not after we killed him... :p

edit OHHHHHHH I misread "right after this encounter Onos starts" as "right after this encounter starts Onos starts", nevermind me

Personally, I think its common courtesy not to follow around a guild as they raid, and then engage in any pvp tagged chars while engaged with a mob. This doesn't just affect the pvp player, it affects the whole guild thats on the raid. If a raid I was on wiped because of this, I would be very upset. I don't know of anyway to prevent this code wise, I would just hope players would never do that.

You weren't engaged. Anyway, yeah it was a dick move, and I'll admit that its happened to me before and I didn't like it very much. That being said, I do apologize for being a dick basically. (Also, if its any consoltaion, I wasn't following the guild.)

No Onos, I know that. I wasn't referring to you. I just wanted to make sure that nobody could use the pvp capabilites in SoD to wipe a raid. And as wiz pointed out, they have done that code wise, which I didn't know(I'm not into pvp). What you did today was fine. Besides, you just attacked a drood. It's not like you attacked anyone important on the raid :D

This has nothing to do with being in a raid or not. The guy did wait with his attack untill after we killed King Rymaz, the annoying part is just that he was healing himself with a toon that we could do nothing about.

And Wiz, apperently the code that is in doesnt work :p Should i buglist it?
