No Required Level for Kelethin Gate

Just spent days and days at a low level gathering tails for the Kelethin Gate neck... 220 tails give or take and received the necklace and I can not use it.
Why?
I can MoP to Kelethin at level 1
I could pl a wizard in the same amount of time that could port me to Faydark at level 1
I can borrow a wizard or use mine to tl port me anywhere at level 1
The stats on the Kelethin gate neck are 5 5 5 and Newport Gate is 10 10 10 and it has no required level.

What is the game breaker about a low level having a Kelethin Gate necklace?

Please remove the requirement.
It doesn't hurt anyone and I was so excited to challenge myself in getting the gate neck at a low level and it even crumbles to dust.

It is just a fun item to have a convenience as well (MoP of course being way more convenient)
So yah...
 
If you look at them side by side, the Kelethin neck is identical to the Athica neck, which might be where the lvl rec came from. Not that this helps in any way shape or form with your suggestion/request =(

NGL, I would have much much much rather seen a Hallas neck and mop, or at least a Hallas mop and maybe a Thurgadin neck. Not that this helps in any way shape or form with your suggestion/request =(
 
Yeah i mean it was fun to do on my off time while trying to camp my shir blade but its a pretty worthless gate neck. I like how its called talisman instead of whatever the others are and I get to hang out with my peoples in the trees. Realistically though this was not needed as badly as some of the other options.

Onto your question though why are you upset about not being able to use it at level 1? The req is like 10? which takes what 10 minutes to get to anyways? Im lost.
 
Seriously...Halas has no nearby MoP or gate neck (5 zones away) and they get no gate neck? They have a wizard port 1 zone away and a druid port 2 or 3 zones away...

I get why barbarians have no MOP (no caster guild), at least give them a necklace. No idea why Kelethin (that has a wizard port in the zone and a druid port 1 zone away) and is 1 zone away from Athica (gate neck + MOP) got a gate neck first...

Level rec. or not... you're lucky to have it.
 
I thought GM's put in a Halas portal... Thought it was something like twisting one of their arms, but I thought they have one in the top left of the mop...

Seriously, the zone is dead past 20. What shaman or beastlord (about the only two classes that could get use of this zone past 20) is going to run all the way back to halas to buy their spells when they can just MoP to Oggok? At least Grobb gets a port neck AND a raid zone attached to it, which makes having the port neck so much better. Halas just sucks.
 
Some snowy raid zone off Halas would be awesome. Is the everfrost LDon zone used? Could be like....a zone inside a glacier with orcs and mammoths and shit
