Really depends on your idea of versatile and easy. What do you like to do? Tank, heal, do damage, crowd control, or have a pet do most of your work?

I play a bard and we are extremely versatile and can fill many roles. However, lower bard levels can be a pain and the class doesn't really reach its full potential until late. Druids are also extremely versatile and can do many things even on lower levels.

I would also suggest shaman and necro as I enjoy soloing while lfg. Both of these classes are extremely powerful and can do a lot on their own or in a group. I played a shaman on Live, but I believe they are similar here as well (I loved playing on on Live).

I have never played a tank, but if I were going to I would play a paladin since they are great tanks in xp groups and because they pwn HHK and I like pwning HHK.

Good luck to you!

I dont wanna sound like an asshole and all... but this is a topic that has come up like a million times by now... and there is this neat thing called 'Search'. Basically the most you can get from your question now is probably people promoting their own classes, because you have given no information what kind of play styles you like!
