New to SoD I have a few questions.

Hiya everyone :) i just found out about this game and it looks awesome. If somone could help me out with a few questions that would be great.
1. Whats the usual server population? how many people are on at a time?
2. Do you usually see people or does the world seem empty?
3. Are their alot of PVE raids with 40+ people or what not.. and is this game group based?
4. Which cd box should i purchase that will have all of the cds i need to play this game?? Titanium?

Depends on time of day. dips under 100 during off hours but gets over 300 I believe during peak (I play during off hours so usually never see more than 150).

You can sometimes have zones to yourself but it never feels empty. ooc is server wide and there is a newbie guild so usually conversation going on (even during off hours).

Raid max is 36 folks but i don't think most raids are that full. But raids due happen (fairly regular I believe in some circles). And there is a fair amount of grouping. I solo and dual client myself (thats just how I prefer to play).


But welcome aboard, this is an awesome game and the devs really do a great job (cheap plus :) ). Hope you enjoy your stay.

You can suffice in just buying the trilogy. SoD doesn't support past LDoN so no point in buying anything past that (and you can patch all the expansions without buying them so if you can get the trilogy cheaper - save your money :) ).
 
Dbum's right. We have several active raiding guilds who raid on a regular basis. And if you find a digital download of titanium, please let me know. Thanks.

Around 5-7am(EST) it usually has a 70-95 average player base. Around week-end nights I've seen 300+, and the Server seems to hold that many players very well.

99percent of the time in low end gaming, you will always see players! Sometimes, there's too many players in a zone, heh, when you're trying to level or camp for example.

Not that high enough to be raiding yet, but the first day I joined I saw about 35 high-end guilders in PoAir, so I'm guessing this is a raid-enabled server, heh. And you can solo here, but it's dumb. With a full group you can get a 200% EXP bonus plus other innate bonuses, which offers ideal exp. From what I've seen so far, regardless of class if you're looking for a group you can usually find one in a short period of time.

It's fine my post was edited, but a more "mature" route could have been taken. For example, deleting the post in its entirety or simply typing "The text of this post was removed." I was simply attempting to help another player.

Well, Sony officially give away the trilogy free: here.

Takes almost a day to patch to what you need though, but still saves you money, which you can then donate to SoD *grin*
