New SoD Promo Video

Exciting video, Volgan! Out of curiosity, how come some Live footage is mixed in? Not enough available HD footage of SoD raid content? (Though I also saw a glimpse of some newbie hunting grounds from Shadeweaver!)

Yeah I just didn't have much HD raid footage from SoD. I'm more of a casual player and haven't done much raiding so I had to use what I could find. =/

But I'm definitely open to making adjustments to the edit to swap in better footage- just need to acquire some nice raid shots first. And since the edits already done, it's really simple to make those changes, but for now I figured it was good enough to post so people could take a look. :)

Tons of new newbie quests have been added recently.
Two entire new 6 man zones in the past few months (Laboratory and that other one I can't remember the name of)
New Halloween Quest

Just because top tier content isn't added doesn't mean new content isn't added, quit being such a downer.

For a volunteer staff, they put out lots of new stuff.

As for the video: It's good, but some of the mobs scream "live" like the Armor of Zek in the one raid scene. Lots of work went into it though and it shows. Good work dude.

When I acquire some better raid footage I'll definitely swap out the shots from live and replace them with footage from SoD. Sorry, just working with what I had.

I've been playing this server on and off since Winters Roar and I've seen how it's evolved- I have to disagree.

No disrespect intended - your video is great and I think it will do great things for the game if we can get the right people watching it. Thank you for making it.
 
It looks pretty great. The live footage might be a little misleading, but that can be pretty easily rectified if a raider on here recorded something!~

What is your in game character name, Volgan?

I'm usually on either Blinks on Volgan. But I'm crazy busy with work projects right now so it's probably best to shoot me an email. If anyone wants to help record footage i need full HD 1080p clips (preferably 29.97, h264 or x264, without UI)
 
Anyone doing a raid tonight that I could possible tag along for? Just trying to gather more footage
