New, and thinking Druid

Oh in addition, while your fire dot will probably have horrible resist rates, and your nukes will as well, your magic dots will almost always land for some reason. Seriously, like just about fucking always. Also, so will fiery sundering when you get it. I've landed that on things made of fire.
 
Pretty sure the magic dots (swarms and such) land on a -100 resist check, according to wiki.

Seen a resist once in a while, but they're quite rare.

I personally love the class. I even made a second druid because I kind of rushed through from 45-65 and so I made a second druid (will probably never see the light of lvl 60 on the alt). At the very high end of the game the class is just awesome. DS tanking is a blast. And with very few exceptions they can group heal anywhere.

I recommend working on AA's when you first get your pet. For a few levels it is pretty amazing what you can do with it, before the pet turns into a speed bump
