New aggro code = strange

Ok, the new aggro code is really strange.
I pulled a mob with dem's allu pants and the sicken stick = 2 dmg / tick (WOOT :p) and pulled the mob backward, the chanter that was in my group standed in the corridore and the mob turned on it and that is after I have done damage, enchanter haven't done ANYTHING (not even started to cast a spell) is standing up and still steals aggro ??? now that is wiered.

I can confirm this.

I would pull with my paladin (cease or desist stuns)

My druid would be off to the side and get jumped for being there.

Once the fight is going it is working fine though.

 Please Fjodor. If what I just read of your description is accurate, Tell me: What would happen if a monk pulled a mob to the warrior?

If a monk pulled a mob and war was standing in monk pull path war would get aggro without attacking or taunting or the monk fd'ing.

Proximity aggro seems to have been bumped up. You need to pull a mob with enough dmg or aggro or it will go after other people in the same aggro range if they are standing near you.

It shouldn't be too much trouble though as now you can simply have a SK cast an aggro spell on one to bring 2 social mobs and then have the warrior stand near him and the mob he didn't cast on will self peel and go straight for the warrior. Saves having to run up and taunt one off incase the warrior doesn't have cmal gloves.

After examining it this could make splitting packs of high level mobs easier too now that you can high aggro 1 with a SK and send a ethereal monk darting past the pack to proximity peel all the others off at once.

Work it out...

My only question on this is....
I do understand meding now generates agro, but why on earth would a mob that I am nuking (mage atm) and almost dead turn to poke the cleric that is meding?
Mage would clearly have the agro. Worse case I would think it would of run away.. But maybe just that one final blow to moral. Poke the cleric before I die. /shrugs

Good change, keep it as it is.... nothing wrong with making things seem a bit more random even though they really aren't.

God forbid artificial intelligence standing a small chance against pure natural stupidity.

The point in this change (according to Wiz) was that if you pull more than one mob then the second mob could run on any other pc in aggro range, still, pulling with alu's pants (sicken) you still do NOT get top aggro if another one in aggro range is sitting down, sit aggro still generates more (and that is NOT intended according to Wiz). So it need to be fixed.

I can confirm that as well, I was running my chanter alt up to the barrens and there was a group fighting a worm (Cyro-something) and I was just about to zone when the worm summoned me and I got eaten :D

Odd thing is I wasn't even in their group

Yeah, you can't go near people anymore. Sorry.

I don't know about this agro thing, I've been patient to see how it is, and when I use my rogue for some reaons the mob will hit me on raids, when I'm attacking from behind. My rogue sucks compared to other people on raids, I don't understand how I can take so much agro. Once I started getting hit and I stopped attacking entirely (It still was hitting me after I stopped) so I moved farther away from it, waited until 50% of it's health passed and started attacing from the back again and it kept turning and hitting me. So, for most of the raid to avoid having to spam heal my rogue I just stood out of the fights. The mob didn't seem to want to stick onto the tank. The tank was Coltaine, who doesn't usually have agro problems against a level 58 rogue. This damage wasn't only from dragon roar or area DD, it was melee, I checked after.

If this was what was intended, fine, but if it's not please look into it.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say it was rooted.
