Was told by Woldaff to make a new post about this item since the effect has been broken since it was implemented so here we go (i just copied it over so don't shoot me for now useless paragraphs - it still says what it should say):


As far as I know this is still broken or was as of a week ago. Paxx can correct me if I am wrong, I haven't gotten the robe yet. Any chance someone could bother to look into it yet? As it is now we get more or less next to nothing for upgrading the robe (I am well aware that the effect should work but it's getting old), the upgrade has still less mana then immaculate, 10 more saves, 30 more HP as well as Recovery 3 ( :tinfoil: ) while other classes that'd lose the extended effect on their chestpiece would still see a meaningful upgrade.

I know Xeldan is currently MIA but is there anything that can be done to make the robe more worthwhile, even if it's just a ghetto-fix like some random focus (even regular disease focus and maybe 15 more mana or so would make me happy) or do we have to deal with this piece until Xeldan is back?

This effect should be fixed by next patch if my fix works(Which I am fairly certain it will) :cool:
 
Ok the effect for scitterpox works.... problem is it also lowers your other dots damage.

Archaic Claws of the Chill with Raiment of Devouring Flame robe - 1088/tick (raid buffed with shojars)
Archaic Claws of the Chill with Shroud of Tortured Souls robe - 922/tick (raid buffed with shojars)
Archaic Claws of the Chill without any robe - 1088/tick (raid buffed with shojars)

Similar results with Marlow and Caress, forgot the numbers sorry.
 
Yale mocked me to do the combine last night - lucky I didn't do it yet.

I know whats wrong, It's not stacking with your affliction 7 and as such making all your other dots do poop for damage, I'm working on getting it fixed as quickly as I can.
 
As of next patch the following changes to the robe will go in place:
Focus effect will be chaned to Gradlash's Brutality
The mana will be upped to 220 points
The recovery will be upped to Recovery IV

Focus is general 6% disease I assume?

Otherwise - neato to see that this gets finally fixed. <3 you Tem (until you drive me mad again tomorrow or so :toot:)

That didn't happen, robe still has the broken Scittering Plague effect that Paxx described (After your fix).

The problem however is, it does not stack with ANYTHING. Not with Affliction Enhancement, not with Tarhyl's Rage, not with Sivyana's Malice. Trusting this I did the combine yesterday and am now stuck with a robe that's not only a downgrade but also rapes my entire DPS because yeah - Scitterpox will skyrocket with it, everything else will be REALLY low (Caress of Sivyana ticks for 120pts less with Necro Thaz BP equipped for example).

It'd be really nice if that could be resolved soonish.
 
Poor tem must be beating his head against a wall in anger over this not working like it's supposed to.
