Necro race

Can gnomes be rangers? I think not. Thus they shall be punted mercilessly until they weep jello pudding.

As to on topic:

Erudites are blind, they can't find themselves to fondle umm themselves, this means they are a no go.
Humans should see the above.
Nobody likes a stupid lizard, they like them even less when they are ugly
Gnomes...... oh where to start..... If you make a gnome, I'll cut your heart out with a bandaid.
Darkelves are simply the most badass of the races available, hence they get my vote.

Premanent sb illusions and clicky illusion items pretty much invalidate choosing a race based on how they look, as you can always avoid it. A gnome that suffers from the obvious size disadvantage for example, has several clicky options to choose from, regardless of class, to change their size and look. These include

Dark elf (tmaps)
Dwarf (50's tmaps)
Vah (vah quest)
Halfling (vale neck ring event)
Wood Elf (Eldenals quest)
Grow clicky (low tier raid mob)
(If one is a rogue or bard there are even more options, including high elf, imp, and skeleton even, also certain classes such as mage and necro will be spending very little time in their original forms to begin with, except when hanging out in towns and such)

There is even a gender clicky, just in case you're feeling particularly ranmaish one day. Which is why it makes sense to go with the better bonus. If you are low level and can't get any of these? Buy an sb permanent illusion off of an enchanter. Most probably won't charge you much for it at all. That way, you get the best of both worlds.

As far as incidentals go, such as ultravision, many classes have options to deal with this as far as spells are concerned. Later you will also be taking buffs which provide ultravision, and worst comes to worst, get a shard of the core from a mage and stick it in your ammo slot (the ultravision will work, and you will probably get one as it will probably be the first request for one the mage has gotten in quite a while).

I also don't approve the SB illusion thingie cause whatever the advantages, you might regret this buffslot from times to times.

hello, i start today in shards of dalaya, and i want start with a necro, but i dont know what race is good for necro, why i am new, someone can help me to decide for race?. thanks a lot

It doesn't matter what race. You could pick with your eyes closed, and as long as you didn't pick another class you'd pretty much have the same amount of win to look forward to.
