Would be awesome to be able change my pet into something without having to beg or box a druid or an enchanter to do it for me.
All I am interested in really is changing the appearance, not give it new abilities.
The spectre is especially annoying because of its size and it's noises. And it's female! So, when I do get it illusioned by an enchanter, my pet with it's perfectly masculine name is a girl. Are all higher level pets this way? I remember having some male zombie and mummy pets at earlier levels, but the spectres are apparently the oppositie sex of the caster.
Have done some checking and I think all higher level pet spells are this way. The pet is the opposite sex of its master. I guess this isn't a bad thing, except it would be nice to have a choice when you pick a name.
I'm not asking for anything free. I'm willing to pay or work for it.
Give me an AA to change him. I know you can't add AAs (I think I read that) The Soulbond AA comes to mind. What Necro really uses that?
A /cm command would work for me. /cm pet zombie /cm pet skeleton /cm pet gnome would even make me happy. Maybe a combination of the two? You have to buy soulbond as a necro to get use of the /cm command
Or, A new Ikisith tome would work. I'd glady work a tome for the ability to change my pet into something not so annoying as the spectre. I remember that there was discussion of this before ikisith opened, has that been scrapped?
maybe even the Silver status donator illusion item could be changed to work on pets. I dunno.
A vendor item at the Necro trainer that I could buy and give to my pet to change it would even work for me. And might be a decent plat sink as well. Different items at different prices according to coolness would even be better!
Examples...
Companion Snack of the wee, Turns pet into a gnome and costs 25pp
Companion Snack of nature, Turns pet into a woodelf and costs 25pp
Companion Snack of Snow, Turns pet into a barbarian and costs 25pp
Companion Snack of Dark, Turns pet into a darkelf and costs 25pp
Companion Snack of Confusion, Turns pet into a Halfling and costs 25pp
Companion snack of Earth, Turns pet into a earth Elemental and costs 40pp
Companion snack of Fire, Turns pet into a fire Elemental and costs 40pp
Companion snack of Spirit, Turns pet into a Spirit wolf and costs 40pp

The list could go on and on.
