necro needing gear help

lame thread title aside I want to know how good my gear is given my level. Also i'd like to know what would be a better choice for both solo and group activities as I'm fairly sure there's better equipment I can fairly easily grab. As a note I also have the other starfall item(the libra somethonorother) and a body harvester as well as the tome on summoned creatures(for pet health up).

So...little help figuring out where to go hunting now that I've returned?

Final Note: Unless there's another mask out there that gives the same vision affects as my current one I'm not going to swap out. I find the affects too handy(and its not a shabby bit of gear either).

Go target a banker and /cmd listview 20

Pick a name and /cmd listsold <playername>

Then you can get an idea of what's out there to buy. Other than that, get in on some tmap groups for no-drop gear. Forget adepts. They suck compared to tmaps as far as time/reward goes.

What I would do is /who necromancer 40 60 all and variants on that. Then type in those people's names to Fomelo to see what they're wearing. Might as well look up magicians, wizards, enchanters too since all caster gear is similar.

I'd also suggest you get regen potions from an alchemist. The potion creation market is so competitive, it's not too difficult to find potions sold at ~cost of production or even lower. Greater Essence of Fungi gives you 6hp/tick for 1 hour and cost about 4pp per dose.

Use Liber Bubonicus and Body Harverster.

Get a platinum plat sapphire earring (~150-200pp)
Get the FP bracer (forgot the name atm :/)
You'll get 2 upgrades on Tmaps very soon, no need to replace them (I had Soft Leather until level 50)
Slippers are ok, you can get better from DFS (Gnoll skin boots) as well as arms.
Royal Crown which drops in Kaladim is clearly your choice for head.

Can't recall anymore from top of my head but all those items are pretty easy accessable and - if bought - not THAT expensieve.

I have a top of the line necro twink, level 42. Fomelo Mythos. I have 4 more items for him sitting on my main. Beautiful Golden Bands, Venomed Snake Ring, Dragon Hide Gloves, and Mantle of Reanimation. Still looking for a great back item. You can get a good robe with casting speed 3 from Mielech A, Water Mage. He spawns on a box island in a reverse pyramid. Surounded by normal froglok mages, and spellblades. Take a group around lvl 35, a couple people will do at lvl 40. Once the spawn is broken up a bit, 1 person can keep it broken for as long as they need. Mythos wears this robe.

Alright, ditched the rotbringer for the body harvester/Liber Bubonicus combo. Now then, what sort of upgrade to the bodyharvester should I look for, or will it do for awhile for me?

I used mine until my high 50ies or even low 60ies, not 100% sure. After that I got the mainhand I use now, it drops in Kedge from the Eternal One. You see it for sale every other month, not that often but it's around randomly.
Besides you could try and accquire the Coldstone Globe (Drops from Orc Boss in EW) or do Tmaps until you get the sceptre (Fomelo Temellin). My offhand drops from a Tmap as well, Easy or Moderate, not sure which it was. If you just safe up some money/maps it shouldn't be too hard to get one of those items.

Nobody mentionned it so far, but I noticed you have no charm equipped? You can get one that gives +3 to both INT and CHA for a measly 4 plats, or one that bumps up your CHA by 15 for just under 80 plats.

No charm sadly. Advice on which I should take between cha and int? I'm not even sure what Cha is responsible for, but i know its important.

More Cha less resists. Pretty important for any caster, possible most important for Enchanters and Necros along with bards. Make sure that you keep it at a fairly high level (Mine's too low).

charisma is the number one most important stat for a necromancer, then look for items that have good +int and +sta or +hp and +mana. try to keep your hitpoints high, as well as having good +mana on your stuff.
