Recently, I've been getting a lot of complaints from people from someone inadvertantly posing as me. His name is Draxxx, with 3 x's, and my name is (was) Draxx with 2 X's. I petitioned this several times, upon getting /tells from people telling me to stop being mean and vulgar in OOC. I frequently told them that it wasn't me, and that I rarely speak in ooc. I petitioned one day, after a GM broadcast a message, asking them to change his name once more, and I was the one who got the name flag.

I've been having a problem with this for quite a while, and I think that since I'm more of an established player, (Guild leader, level 61, main character, etc) that I should be able to change my name back to Draxx, and have him change his name. I hate to be a dick about it, but I've talked to him about it, and he laughs at me and says, "It was my name on live! LOL!" Upon asking him to stop being a dick in ooc, he just ignored me.

So what I'm basically asking is to have my name changed back to Draxx, and have Draxxx's name changed. Thanks guys.

Not that my opinion matters all that much but anyway. I agree that he should change his name.
 
You do know posting on the forums isn't the way to go if you disagree about an action taken by a GM, right?
 
No, it's not, but that's a fairly straight forward case and I don't really see any need for further bureaucracy. Contact any GM to have this done ASAP and refer them to this post if necessary.

I got told down the grapevine of a few people that a GM who will remain unnamed told me to make a post on the forums about it.

So I did. :D
