Few questions....

Is this a SIX man zone? if so could it be stated here by a staff member and updated under the 6 man rules in the raid policy.

Content skipping: is it illegal to train/rez past Traps (such as the 4 elemental traps) these are really hard to kill sometimes almost harder than the bosses themselves.

Do Bow's drop somewhere in here? (please no spoilers just a yes or no)

could i get a % of content thats supposed to be bypassed vs killed. I've killed alot of things that you can easily avoid just for the sake of having more room to kill things further into the zone... but there's some situation where i look at things and go... " how the fuck are we supposed to do this?"

Please don't troll my post. i know there is alot of people that have made it further than I have and great congrats to you!. don't post spoilers or troll me please its a serious thread with serious questions my group of 6 have had.

It is probably illegal but also I think I vaguely recall Zaela mentioning somewhere that there was a trick to dealing with these. I don't know if that helps you at all.

yah idk. i do know that when we popped one our tank died we rezzed an in the time we waited trying to figure out how we were gonna do it. it respawned again but the 4 trap mobs from before hadnt depopped. so we had 8 Water elementals 2 skeletons that would come on the pull. and then 4 others close by.... so its yah...
 
you can deal with the traps but if rezzing thru is the only way to get past them i think that's fine.. also to clear up a petition i got today, nadox does support 2 groups but not in the same area so until 1 group consistently starts at a later checkpoint it's essentially moot.

Great thanks for the infos! you can defintley kill the traps but in some scenarios like the one we bugged out really screwed us over.
 
Answers: don't go to nadox. It's only still there because slaariel wouldn't let me delete it.

dude i love nadox and the experience is sick i'd hate for you to delete it. I got a dedicated group and were all about beating the zone. but even with like 4 wipes us taking our time to learn strats and stuff i made like 12 % codex exp in 4 hours. thats pretty good imo

Don't worry I respect those that have shown me the zone and will give right away to them. I'm not sure if this is in the zone or not but a checkpoitn system would be nice. E.X. Only Issues I have with this zone is the healing needed. We bearly made it through with Druid shammy Palldin tank. Maybe Reduce the damage done and up mob's HPs to make it not a 2 healer kind of zone.

i know grps that have made it further than i have (i've done 3 bosses) with only 1 healer. there is definatley checkpoints i've seen them. Slims will depsawn into 3 on their own over time.
 
nadox is really cool, it could use some tweaks, sure, but the overall design is smart. i just wish there was some incentive (that we knew about) so that i could convince people to go there. i realize it was not designed for my tier, and can never really compare to citadel exp, but the combo of poor exp + no cash loot makes it a tough sell.
 
EXP is super huge there. once you get a group that knows what they are doing you can just clear trash packs for retarded amounts of exp. That in itself is a huge incentive to go there. But as I mentioned not a lot of people want to LEARN the zone to make it profitable like that. I'm glad there are no random cash loot drops the PP could use a little bost but thats optional. Some thing to take out of the zone would be nice though. I guess after a long while you could upgrade the gear you level up from bosses. But even then that would take a really long time to get your gear from in nadox on par with what you have outside of it.

!! Idea, Make a raid zone that requires gear from nadox to get gear usable outside of nadox and said raid zone.

Gear up in Nadox > Take this gear into the raid zone > get drops usable outside.

As a Bonus make it so the raid mobs in said raid zone are like Marlow from the halloween event where loot is decided by the raid force defeating the boss.

But thats just me thinking out loud about things that would take forever to code in.

is more than enough incentive and exactly what it was designed for. it wasnt designed for phat loots. it was designed for players that want a lil but of swing to their grind. more than just hack and slash. and the reduction of gear stats and tome stats makes it doable for anyone level 65.

Just to clarify cian's post, a FWF group would make ~30% codex in 4 hours, so for us the exp is not so enticing. Unless you are t9+ though, the exp will be comparable or better than what you can get outside, so I'd encourage people to check out the zone. That isn't really a problem with the zone or anything, its just harder to motivate the ultra endgame people to go there since a lot of people hardly log on outside of raids to begin with.

and i agree. but its not really for End game geared people. Its a huge incentive for fresh 65's to learn strategy's teamwork and getting bomb ass exp. the VERY FIRST MONSTER is 17k a kill

Yeah, Cless and I have started a number of groups there, and it's been really amazing to see people in droppable gear hold their own and people in Tier 10 gear suck real bad.

I think I'll try to get some level 55 character in on my next Nadox group. It would be interesting to see how they fare.
 
Crazy idea here, have Nadox be a 12 man zone for 55's, with 2 groups exp is cut so they would get roughly 8k+ per kill if my numbers are right. Just a suggestion tho, and the challenger items might be useful for new 55 players. And 12 man zones where enchanters can be cool are fun *cough cough* Abyss *cough cough*
 
i would not like not being able to exp in there. however i'd have no problems with allowing 12 man lvl 55 raid. and 6 man lvl 65 zone

Well, a level 55 group should be able to kill the trash in there, getting Shadowed weapons that would also level up. Of course, they'd get so many AAs so fast they'd probably decide to finally level to 65. Sure their gear wouldn't be great, but they'd have enough AAs that they could get the gear.
