Myspace/AIM virus warning

My little sister (or so I thought) sent me an AOL instant message that said, "Should I add these pictures of us to my myspace or facebook?" followed by this link:
http://[do-not-click-this-link-it-contains-a-worm]photobucket.com/NewPictures/picture40.jpg (minus the obvious message I insesrted).

Come to find out, what it does is highjack your AIM SN and send the same message to everyone on your AIM buddy list infecting all those that click the link (downloadig the picture45.pif file). Thank God Windows service pack II caught it and gave me the "are you sure you want to do this" warning!

In any event, if you get an AIM message from someone you trust to click on a similar link DON'T TRUST IT! My little sister got on an alternate SN and told me she got booted from hers and what had happened. Thank God she did so before It was too late and I DL'd that worm! I never would have thought to not trust a trusted SN!

Here is a link that explains it more and how to remove the worm:

Here is another link that has a removal tool:

 I didn't fall for it /smack. Excuse me for being nice and tying to make sure no one else does! I don't play on AIM or Myspace so how would I have known about it! I got an AOL IM SN for SoD and more specifically for guildies to contact me when I was not in game or IRC.

My friends get this all the time and it's quite annoying to see 20 or so of those messages in one day. Lets me know which of my friends are MORE gullible than me though! :p
