my bard toon had problems with DDD last night?

Last night, I was having problems with most of my "range/targeted" detrimental songs (they used to work).

I typically use something like DDD to pull a mob, I would run near it, start singing DDD, and the spell cast timer would complete, but there was no resulting text, and the song did not land on the mob. I also used the slow song. Neither of them worked from range (not a long range, very short range, but out of aggro range).

When engaged in melee, said songs worked.

I could, however, pull with selo's consonant chain. So, I don't know whats up.

Anyone else ever had this problem?

Are you KoS to that mob? that may have something to do with it

It's possible that you're not close enough to be on the agro list for any pbae spells to work. I know that with rain spells and pbaoe spells you must first be on the agro list in order for the spell to land.
